Laddu is a popular Indian sweet and we make different varieties of ladoo for festivals. I have posted many varieties of ladoo recipes in Jeyashris kitchen. This diwali season i wanted to make a healthy sweet recipe, so wanted to try out this oats and nuts laddu. Also this is a best snack for kids snack box too. I used coconut sugar instead of white sugar. Though it is not diabetic friendly, i can say coconut sugar is much better than refined white sugar. Also i loved the taste of the coconut sugar in this oats ladoo. I have added cashew nuts and almonds in this recipe, you can add pistachio too. Peanuts can also be added, but removed the skin after roasting it.

Ingredients
- Oats 1 cup ( i used quick cooking oats)
- Nuts 1/3 cup (i used almonds and cashew nuts)
- Ghee 2 tblsp
- Cardamom powder 1/8 tsp
- Coconut Sugar* 1/2 cup
- *You can use organic jaggery | clean jaggery without impurities or raw sugar or brown sugar too.

Healthy and quick oats nuts laddu recipe, with no refined sugar, perfect sweet for festival time, recipe with step by step pictures.
- In a pan dry roast the 1 cup of oats for 10 minutes. Do not change the color.Â
- Cool completely and powder this in a mixie.
- In the same pan add 1/3 cup of nuts and roast till brown spots appear on it.Â
- Cool this and add it the powdered oats.
- Pulse it in the mixie few times, let this be coarse.Â
- Transfer this to a bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup of coconut sugar.
- Add 1/8 tsp of cardamom powder.Â
- Heat 2 tblsp of ghee and once it hot, add it to the bowl.Â
- Mix well and start making ladoos.
- It came around 11 ladoos.
- Keep it in an air tight container. This stays good for a week in room temperature.Â
