Cabbage rice recipe | easy lunch box recipe | easy cabbage rice recipe with detailed step-by-step pictures.
Cabbage rice is one of the super hit recipes at our place. I tried this for the first time very casually, as I had no veggies at home except cabbage and capsicum. Everyone loved it very much. So I thought of sharing the recipe of this simple and easy cabbage rice.
This is very simple to prepare and you can prepare this with leftover rice too. Adding capsicum to this cabbage rice gives a nice aroma to this. If you don’t have capsicum you can add frozen green peas too.
We are not grinding anything in this recipe. So in the morning if you are in a hurry, no need to do too many things to make this rice. Apart from the lunch box, you can make this and serve it for a weekday dinner too.
For an interesting variation, you can add ginger garlic paste after sauteing the onions. This will give a nice aroma and tastes nice too. You can make this for potluck parties too. A simple raita or potato curry or cauliflower curry pairs well with this cabbage rice.
