Chilli cheese kuzhi paniyaram recipe, a kids friendly no onion no garlic breakfast | dinner. The recipe of Chilli cheese kuzhi paniyaram with detailed video and step by step pictures. Kuzhi paniyarams are very rare in my house but recently everyone started liking it much. So i made it a few times using dosa batter. I have the recipe of Chettinad kuzhipaniyaram in Jeyashri’s kitchen.

I got this idea of making chilli cheese paniyaram a few weeks back but couldn’t find grated cheese in the nearby supermarket. Tried the same using cheese slices. It turned out well but still wanted to try using grated cheese. This paniyaram was a super hit at my home and kids loved it. Also check out my chilli cheese toast, chilli cheese dosa recipe.

Chilli cheese kuzhi paniyaram

Chilli cheese kuzhi paniyaram, easy kids friendly recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dosa batter
  • 4 tblsp Capsicum finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Grated cheese
  • 2 Green chili
  • Oil to cook the paniyarams

Instructions

  • Add 4 tblsp finely chopped capsicum to the batter.
  • Mix well. Use colored capsicum, it will be more attractive.
  • I used left over dosa batter, you can grind kuzhi paniyaram batter and make this chilli cheese paniyaram.
  • In a bowl add ¼ cup grated cheese and add finely chopped green chili.
  • Mix well.
  • Heat the paniyaram pan and add few drops of oil in all the holes.
  • Add little batter inside the pan.
  • Fill little cheese mixture.
  • Pour some more batter on the top to fill the holes.
  • Cover and cook in medium flame.
  • Flip on the other side and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Cook in medium flame for a minute.
  • Switch off the flame. Take out the paniyarams.
  • Repeat the same for the rest of the batter.
  • Chilli cheese paniyaram ready.

Notes

1. You can add cut cheese slices instead of grated cheese. 
2. You can add some grated carrots to the batter along with capsicum.
  • Add 4 tblsp finely chopped capsicum to the batter.
  • Mix well. Use coloured capsicum, it will be more attractive.
  • I used leftover dosa batter, you can grind exclusive kuzhi paniyaram batter.

  • In a bowl add ¼ cup grated cheese and add finely chopped green chili.
  • Mix well.
Cheese mixture
  • Heat the paniyaram pan and add few drops of oil in all the holes.
  • Add little batter inside the pan.
  • Fill little cheese mixture.
  • Pour some more batter on the top to fill the holes.
Kuzhi- paniyaram
  • Cover and cook in medium flame.
  • Flip on the other side and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Cook in medium flame for a minute.
  • Switch off the flame. Take out the paniyarams.
Breakfast recipe
  • Repeat the same for the rest of the batter.
  • Chilli cheese kuzhi paniyaram ready.
