I posted dry fruits ladoo a few years back in Jeyashri’s kitchen. A few months back, when I conducted a cooking class in Hong Kong, one student got me this dry fruits burfi | dry fruits roll for me. She got one jar full of it and before she reached the car park after the class, we finished almost half of the jar. I found some interesting taste in it but couldn’t figure out what it is.
When I asked her to share the recipe, she told me it was the same dry fruit ladoo recipe of mine. But she added a few cocoa nibs and almond extract. They really elevated the taste to a different level. So I added cocoa powder and vanilla essence. It tasted so good and tasted so yum. Also, instead of making the ladoos I made this into rolls.
Also, this Healthy dates and Nuts burfi post is dedicated to our friend Mr. Ram, who is celebrating his birthday.
