Green moong dal Sabzi recipe, Onion tomato-based gravy using green moong dal, pairs well with chapati, jeera rice, and Naan.
Dal is a staple in Indian cuisine. We include this almost in our daily meal and it is one of the main sources of protein for vegetarians. We make different varieties of dal and this green moong one is one of our favorites. I pack this for kid’s lunch box or make this for dinner too.
Everyone has their way of cooking this green gram sabzi. I too make it differently, but after tasting this dal in my friend’s place, almost a year back, I decided to make this that way since we all like that. And another important thing is it is very simple and easy to make. Enjoy this green moong dal sabzi with roti or jeera pulao.
