Instant paruppu usili recipe – No soaking, no dal instant paruppu usili recipe. Instant beans paruppu usili recipe with full video and step by step pictures.
Paruppu is a traditional recipe made by soaking dals, pulsing it and steaming it and mixed with cooked vegetable. Usually, we make paruppu usili with Beans, cluster beans (kothavarangai), avarakkai, vazhaipoo, and cabbage. Also we make paruppu usili with vazhaithandu, methi leaves usili, onion, capsicum and broccoli too.
In this recipe we are not using dals for making the paruppu usili. We are using besan | kadalai maavu and making this Instant paruppu usili. I learnt this recipe from my friend Radha few weeks back. I have tried this few days back with a small quantity and loved it very much. Yesterday, I made this again and took a video too. No one could realise it is made out of kadalaimaavu. The family just enjoyed it with sambar rice.
Even when you have sudden guests or when you forget to soak the dals for paruppu usili, you can make this Instant usili recipe. Do give it a try and let me know how it turned out.

Madam, can we steam the besan batter in idli plate and then pulse it in mixie?
That is a bit time consuming, In this method, besan gets cooked very fast.
Wondering if the besan wont become soggy once beans are added. I like this idea and will try this.
Since it is cooked well, it will not become soggy once we add the cooked beans to it. Do give it a try. Thank u so much
