Mango Sandwich recipe, with fresh ripe mango and green chutney. When i got my first batch of ripe mangoes from India, the friend who brought it for me told that they make mango sandwich using ripe alphonso mangoes. She said it is very simple as just butter both sides of the bread and slit the mangoes into thin long slices and cover with another bread and serve. I was about to try this, but when i saw some left over green chutney in the refrigerator, i decided to try it along with green chutney. Mango sandwich recipe

Mango Sandwich recipe, with fresh ripe mango and green chutney..
Bread slices 2
Green chutney as needed
Butter as needed
Mango 2 tblsp (chopped into cubes)
Method:
- Soften the butter.
- Cut the mangoes into small cubes.
- Spread the butter on one side of the bread and spread green chutney on another bread.
- Place the mango bits on one side of the bread.
- I placed the mangoes on the buttered side of the bread.
- Cut into triangle or square.
- Serve immediately or you can pack this for kids snack box too.
- We all loved the mango combo with bread and the green chutney complimented it very much.
