Microwave palkova| Therattipal – Easy Microwave therattipal recipe using condensed milk – 3 ingredients palkova recipe
When I came to Singapore four years back, my hubby’s friend’s wife sent a box of Thiratipal which tasted awesome, When I called and thanked her she told me that she made the Thiratipal in a Microwave and made it with condensed milk. Those days I never knew that we could search for recipes on the Internet and I called her again and noted down the recipe.
After that, I tried that once. Later, I totally forgot about the recipe.
Two days back, suddenly I remembered about that recipe and saw in that notebook that I had noted the recipe and made it yesterday and since I don’t have a Microwave at my place, I went to my friend’s place and made the thirattipal. This got ready in 10 minutes and the taste was too good.

Hi Jeyashri,
Tried this today. It came out really very good. Enjoyed it. I hope my kid enjoys it too, as I made it exclusively for her birthday today :-).
Hi Jeyashri,
Looks yummy!!!! Can this be done in a gas stove top/induction? If so please let me know how do I go about making this.
Hi Sharon
this can be made on the stove top too. But it is bit time consuming. But worth trying.
In that case boil 1 liter of milk stirring constantly till it reduces to semi solid consistency. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar according to you sweet taste. This will be bit thick after cooling down.
Thanks a lot for the reply Jeyashri, it came out really well… and tasted heavenly!!! Thank you so much…
Tried today…well tasted awsome! thanks 🙂
I tried this and was a big success! Thank you so much,I also tried your other recipes – idli batter,Mysore pak and peda, all were a big hit! You are the queen of sweets! Love it and looking forward to more.

i tried the same but all the condensed came out of the bowl in the microwave oven…then i tried the rest in the nonstick vessel on the stove :(..now it is sticky
Hi,
The most important thing is the vessel must be big than the contents inside. Else it will come out from the bowl while cooking in Microwave. Stove top it will be sticky only
Hi Jeyashri,Tried this recipe and came out very well. Thanks for the quick & easy recipe 🙂
Hi Jeyashri,Tried this recipe and came out very nice. Thanks for the quick & easy recipe 🙂
hello mam,.,, i have a small doubt… should i add jaggery or sugar for the sweetness. and how to get the "aavin" style pal khoa…
If you add jaggery it will curdle. I tried it once. Don't know what is the secret behind aavin
Shall I use evaporated milk instead of condensed milk??
No Akila not sure how it will come as evaporated milk will be thin and also contains no sweet
