Milagu Aval | Pepper poha recipe – Easy 10 minutes South Indian breakfast | dinner recipe with full video and step-by-step pictures.
Milagu aval, a simple Poha recipe with pepper and cumin flavour. Pepper poha is a simple and easy recipe to make breakfast or dinner or evening tiffin. The most interesting part is no need to chop any veggies or even Onions too. Usually, I make Poha Upma or Puli Aval out of aval (rice flakes) but after I had this Milagu Aval in my friend’s place I hooked up with this recipe. I asked for the recipe and tried it twice at home. We loved it very much and it tasted more like VenPongal. This aval recipe is made in a jiffy and can be had as an evening snack too.
Milagu aval is a no onion no garlic recipe and can be made on fasting days too. It is a perfect neivedyam recipe during Navaratri too. Always use the thick variety of poha for making this recipe.
