Moong dal toast recipe

Moong dal toast recipe, Easy and healthy toast recipe served for breakfast or as a tea time snack too. Moong dal toast with full video and step by step pictures.

Usually we make sandwiches using bread. I have posted a Savory french toast recipe in Jeyashris kitchen, many years back. In that recipe, I used besan |gram flour. This moong dal toast is similar to that one. In this recipe, we soak and grind the yellow moong dal and add spices to it. Later it is spread on the bread and toasted on the tawa.

This is a healthy and filling breakfast recipe. Since we are adding moong dal it is a protein-rich food too. I have tried a similar one using Idli dosa batter too. As we are adding veggies like carrot, capsicum, and onions, it makes the toast filling too.
