Oats Tikki recipe – Indian Oats recipes – Healthy Oats tikki recipe – Easy weight loss recipes – Pan-fried tikki recipe with step-by-step pictures with full video
As we know, oats are very rich in fiber. Generally, we make porridge with oats or Overnight oats for breakfast. I have posted Indian Oat recipes in Jeyashri’s kitchen. This one is an easy and interesting recipe with Oats. We make it healthier by adding a few veggies and cooked moong dal.
This Oats tikki is pan-fried and has fibre and protein in it, so you can have this for breakfast or dinner or snack. I can say it contributes to a balanced meal. Usually, we add maida, besan, potato or sweet potato in tikkis for binding. In this Oats tikki recipe, we are adding cooked moong dal for binding.

I m regular visitor of your blog and tried few of recipes. Really a very useful blog. I tried this recipe with Masala oats so there was no need of garam masala for me. Also i m thinking to use this balls as stuffing for paratha. In that way we can incorporate veggie, dal, oats n atta a wholesome lunch box meal for the kids!
i made it in home..its realy awsme..i love al your recipes..thankful to u..
Tasted this at friend's place..The taste was good.I will try this soon.
should we dry roast the oats which we dust for tikkis?
shall we prepare the tikkis and refrigirate (by placing the tikkis in a plate and cover them with a plastic cover) and toast them when needed.
No need to dry roast the one which we use for dusting. And you can make it and toast it when needed
Tikkis without Aloo …. Sounds Interesting 🙂 May be some grated beetroot would make it more colourful ..
I tried this recipe. It was quick and simple. My husband who doesn't like oats, liked this tikki. Thanks.
