When I posted Chana dal namkeen, one of my friends told in North India they serve this as a chaat. That time I remembered my Moong dal chaat and shared the link also with her. In Tamilnadu, we get peanut masala sundal on beaches and on the streets too. Beach pori is one of the popular street snacks and boiled peanuts are added to this. Being a huge fan of peanuts I wanted to try peanut chaat for a long time.
I actually wanted to try the chaat with masala peanuts, the one which we coat with besan and deep fry them. But this time I wanted to keep it healthy. We get the deep-colored peanuts in local markets here and I love them too. So I used it to make this Roasted peanut chaat. This is a healthy, tasty tea-time snack too. You can make the same using store-bought roasted peanuts too.
