My sister was telling me for the past 2 weeks to post Sulaimani tea recipe. She tasted this in a popular tea joint in Chennai. I thought i will post the recipe after Deepavali. Finally i tried it today and enjoyed every sip of the spice infused black tea. A perfect tea for a rainy day weather. If you haven’t tried Sulaimani tea at home, i recommend you to try it out. Ingredients
- Tea powder 2 tsp
- Ginger a small piece
- Cardamom 2-3
- Cloves 2
- Cinnamon a small piece
- Water 2 cups
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Water 2 cups
- Lemon juice 1 tsp

- Crush the ginger, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon using a mortar and pestle.
- In a saucepan add 2 cups of water.
- Add the crushed spices.
- Add 2 tsp of tea powder to the water.
- Let this boil for 3 minutes.
- Add 1 tsp of sugar to this.
- Filter this.
- Add the lemon juice to this.
- Mix well.
- Serve the sulaimani tea hot.
