Sultani dal recipe | Creamy dal recipe – Lucknowi style sultani dal recipe – with full video and step by step pictures.

We usually make dal in many different ways. Dal tadka is generally made using moong dal or Toor dal or combination of moong dal, toor dal or chana dal. This Sultani dal is made without the addition of tomatoes.

Sultani dal is a creamy rich version of dal, with the addition of milk, cream, and yogurt. This a rich dal from the Mughlai cuisine. Mughlai cuisine is very popular for its richness. I wanted to try out this Sultani dal for a long time and finally tried it yesterday. We had this dal with roti and kids had with rice. It tasted too yum and kids loved it a lot.
