Varalakshmi nombu procedures and recipes, Varalakshmi nombu 2020 – falls on July 31 Friday .
In this post We have a video of my mother in law explaining the pooja procedures. I have posted Varalakshmi pooja recipes in Jeyashri’s kitchen already. I have compiled everything in one place here.
Also, I have given a shopping list so that we can plan before the pooja. In my mom’s house the priest | sastrigal would come early in the morning at 4 am and do the pooja. As my mom was a working mom she will finish the pooja early in the morning and will leave to office.
My mother in law used to do the pooja elaborately by keeping the Virada pooja Vidanam book for guidance. When I was living in Chennai with them, I used to prepare the neivedyam and my mother in law will take care of the pooja part. Once I finish everything, I will go and sit in the pooja along with her.
I want to document her way of doing the pooja. She happily accepted my request and did this video for Jeyashri’s kitchen. My brother in law too this video few weeks back and sent to me.
