Ingredients

cardamom

For making tea

low fat milk

tsp
tea powder

tsp
sugar | jaggery
¼
tsp
chai masala powder
Instructions
Gather all the ingredients.
If you have taken this out from the refrigerator, dry roast this for 2 minutes.
Grind this into a powder.
If it is slightly coarse also ok.
Chai masala is ready.
Let’s make chai using homemade chai masala.
Boil 1 cup of milk in a saucepan.
Add 2 tsp of tea powder to this.
Add ¼ tsp of chai masala powder.
Mix well, let this boil for 2-3 minutes in medium flame.
Stir in between.
Now add sugar | jaggery to this as per your taste.
Mix well.
When it comes to one boil, switch off the flame.
Filter the tea.
Masala chai is ready.

1. You can double or triple the quantity.
2. Chai masala can be stored in an air tight container, do not keep inside the freezer.
