Mango Bhel puri recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 potato boiled and cut into small cubes
  • ¼ cup tomato take out the seeds and chop finely
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Raw mango finely chopped
  • 7 papdi broken into pieces
  • ½ cup ripe mango cut into small pieces
  • 1.5 cups Murmura Puffed rice
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • 3 tbsp roasted peanuts
  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Sev to garnish
  • 3 tbsp mango pieces to garnish
  • 2 tbsp green mango chutney
  • 4 tbsp sweet mango chutney
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

For mango sweet chutney

  • 1 cup ripe mango pulp
  • ¼ cup sugar or powdered jaggery
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  • Method:
  • Put everything in a blender and blend into a smooth paste for green mango chutney.
  • For mango chutney, add fresh mango pulp, sugar, red chili powder, cumin powder,black salt, chaat masala and water to a pan.
  • Cook for 15 minutes in a low- medium flame till the mixture turns glossy.
  • Sweet mango chutney is ready.
  • Cool and store this in an airtight container. This can be stored for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
  • Add 1.5 cups of pori | murmura in a bowl.
  • Add the papdis, onion, tomato, raw mango, boiled potato, chaat masala, red chili powder, ½ cup ripe mango, roasted peanuts and lemon juice.
  • Add the green chutney and sweet mango chutney.
  • Add little sev and few coriander leaves.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Garnish with remaining sev, coriander leaves and ripe mango pieces
  • Serve immediately.
  • Delicious Mango Bhel puri is ready.

Notes:
1. You can adjust the chutneys as per your taste.
2. As the chutneys and chaat masala has salt, we are not adding salt. However, if needed you can add.
3. You can add finely chopped cucumber to the Mango bhel puri.
4. You can replace roasted peanuts with boiled peanuts or boiled chickpeas.
5. Mango bhel puri is a perfect party snack.
