Ingredients

cup
thick yogurt

Salt a needed

shallots | small onion

green chili
A small piece of ginger
Instructions
Crush the shallots, green chili, and ginger in a mortar and pestle.
You can pulse this in a mixie jar into a coarse paste also.
In a wide bowl add the yogurt and whisk this well.
Add 1 cup of water.
Now add the salt and the crushed mixture to this.
Mix well.
Serve immediately or serve chilled.

1. You can crush a few curry leaves and add them to the Sambaram.
